Since creating a home-page was new to the children, the first thing I did was to explain the concept of it.
They came to gain the image of a home-page after watching many home-pages of other schools all over Japan.The theme of the project was to introduce our town and area to others, so we decided to put nature and the town's specialities on a home-page.
Ibogawa Town is called "A town of flowers, greenery and river". In the summer vacation, the children went to various places with a digital camera in groups. It was difficult to take a good picture, so we borrowed some from the brochure published by the town. (We got permission from the town, of course.)
I did most of the work because the children did not have enough technique to create a home-page. Now they want to create the new edition by themselves.
